• Candidates have to appear for the national-level design entrance test conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology, i.e., NIFT entrance exam.
• The entrance exam comprises three rounds - Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test/interview.

• Candidates have to apply and appear for the NIFT PG entrance examination.
• MFM candidates have to take the GAT exam.

• Qualifying candidates have to register and participate in the NIFT counselling.
• Once a seat has been allotted, candidates have to complete the admission process by paying the fees and getting the documents verified.
