B.Des

One should have completed your 10+2 from a recognized board.

For B.F.Tech, you need to have studied PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) at the 10+2 level.

Or, one must pass in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with at least five subjects. Another option is having a recognized 3 or 4-year diploma degree.

One qualification can also be from any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or abroad recognized by the AIU as equivalent to the 10+2 system.

MFM

To be eligible for MFM, One should have graduated from a recognised university.

Or, one can have an undergraduate diploma of at least three years duration from NIFT or NID.

NIFT Bhubaneswar B.Des Admission Process

Candidates have to appear for the national level design entrance test conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology - NIFT entrance exam.
The entrance exam comprises three rounds - Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test.
Candidates qualifying for CAT and GAT have to further appear for the Situation Test.
Next candidates have to meet the NIFT Bhubaneswar Cut-off.
Candidates meeting the NIFT Bhubaneswar cutoff have to register for NIFT counselling and candidates will be allotted seats at NIFT Bhubaneswar as per the rank secured in the entrance exam and seat availability.
