As an electrical Engineering student I can say this confidently that SPCE is the third best engineering college in Maharashtra after IITb and COEP in electrical engineering. It gives a good platform for future study and a lot of opportunities to grow and develop. Labs and classroom are up to mark. Food is good.
yes, you can take direct admission into 2nd year in electrical engineering. this is the lateral entry process and this depends on whether you clear the admission entrance exam or not. you can also get in through the management quota but clearing the entrance is better. the fees is about 1.6 lakh

I hope you are doing well. Last year the cut off (MHT CET percentile) for OBC category was as follows in round 2 of MHT CET counselling to get admission in the above mentioned colleges was above 95 percentile.
Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances to get seat in CSE or IT in the preferred institutes. Cut off may increase or decrease depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Self-financed engineering courses were added to the institute in 1995. Affiliated to the University of Mumbai, the institute is one of the best engineering colleges in the country and has been providing high-quality education over the years. Even, Placements are pretty good here. The average salary package offered here is 10 LPA, and the highest salary package offered currently is 30 LPA. More than 50 companies hired students from here, and many more companies visit. Infact you can easily get an internship here.
