Give importance to sports too ……

In my college sports are neglected, lesser importance is given to the sports. All my friends are only focusing on the marks and craze and discussion goes for the entrance exam for the higher education in the abroad. But one thing that everyone forgets that, in abroad there is equal importance given to the studies as well as to sports. The only think I want in my college is that equal importance should be given to both studies as well as sports. Other facilities of the college such as studies, hostel life, and faculties are amazing in the college and also the campus is huge and beautiful too.

Descent College

Batch of Jan. 1, 2019 | B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
My college is DESCENT AND NORMAL COLLEGE .It is not too good or too bad in terms of studies, Research, sports, Technical festivals and cultural activities too. My college is plain and simple. Talking about the infrastructure .YES it is good and the tools and devices required in the laboratories are also made available. The recent technical fest held that is SPECTRA which was not too good because of the lack of participants and sponsors due to which some of the events has to be cancelled out. But then too, the fest was awesome. The hostel is amazing and healthy and tasty food is been provided to us. The number of girls in hostel has also increased which is a good sign for our college.

With an experienced and learned staff and the best crowd, this college provides you with the opportunity for complete development. It offers you with a good social as well as college life, not doubting the facilities and studies. It stands right after IIT and VJTI, offering scope for overall learning and real life applications. Having one of the largest campuses in Mumbai and a crucial geographical location adds to one of its perks. Overall, every student would wanna be an SPCEian!

It is a wonderful experience to be in spce college. I leart a lot of good things and alerted by some bad things while studying here.while studying in spce we actually learn how to apply your knowledge in practical life .I got good company of knowledgeble aspirants in spce which help me alot to compare myself in the race. Spce is a nice government aided autonomous college having opportunity for each student to grow his knowledge.

I am in spce civil branch in 1st year so next year I wanted to join computer science is it possible to get in spit

PALLAV TIRIYAR 2nd Jan, 2020
Hello,

In SPIT, the chance of changing the branch from one to another is difficult. It can only be done if someone has left the seat vacant due to his or her failure in some subject. For more information on SPIT,  you can refer to the link given below :

If my state category NT-B rank is737 in mhtcet and not good state general merit is 40,000 so which rank is seen in 2019 to get mech in spce

Pranav Bonde Student Expert 28th Jul, 2019

Hi,

It doesn't matter whether your state Merit is considered or your category rank is considered for admissions, as in both cases the students who will be behind your rank in one of the ranking types will always be behind you in any of the rankings given that your competition is only with the candidates of your category.

For that matter, if you look for the cutoffs, they are provided with the state general merit no. for every category.

All the Best!!
