Hi Thejas u got a good enough score in jee which is appreciated But if you are aiming to get into NIT this score is not sufficient. Since you said that u belong to OBC category then u must score more than 90 percentile to get into any of the NIT. U can try private colleges with this percentile.

yes bsc biotechnology has less jobs , but it has great scope in future you can definetly make you future in it if you really like the subject , if you do not like it then do not take it .

The confirmation interaction was through MHTCET advising. The branch was allocated based on your legitimacy. I had applied to the Netaji Subhas University of Technology Delhi and Birla Institute of Technology Mesra through DASA advising in which I got Computer Science Engineering somewhere near December. Out of these I had shortlisted the Netaji Subhas University of Technology and was at that point going to classes.
