3year diploma+3year b.tech .in this case how many total study duration. both will be counted in study duration or individual duration of study will be counted.

3 year diploma and 3 year btech through lateral entry will be counted differently
that means first you can do polytechnic course then you can b.tech course through lateral entry. total studying years will be equal to 3+3=6 years

But what a diploma can consider as a basic qualification and b.tech can consider as a higher qualifications.
