So,
You can get any branch at your home nit and, to get into top 5 nits, then you have to go with civil/mech..,
I strongly suggest you to participate in special round, so that you may get a better college, than in 7th round.

As 97.89 percentile is good score in main exam so you will get computer science easily in NIT but it will also depend upon your category in which you applied. You will get NIT Kurukshetra easily in this percentile under all category.
