First thing i want to say is you can't appear TWICE in JEE MAINS in the same year and if you are talking about to get admission in B.ARCH course with JEE MAINS PAPER II then yes you can get admission in fingure counted NITS AND SOME PRIVATE COLLEGES WITH JEE MAINS SCORE
But if you appear in NATA and clear that exam then you'll be eligible to apply in all NON NIT ARCHITECTURAL COLLEGE So its just that simple with nata you will be having lot more options and with JEE Mains paper II you have very less options and as per my knowledge you need to clear NATA at some period of time to get registered with COA after completing your degree to get The offical Licence and COA No. Which allows you to use prefix AR. with your name so at the end
It will be BENEFICIAL if you clear NATA EXAM ALSO

The Council of Architecture (COA) has been constituted by the Government of India under the provisions of the Architects Act, 1972, enacted by the Parliament of India, which came into force on 1st September, 1972. The Act provides for registration of Architects, standards of education, recognized qualifications and standards of practice to be complied with by the practicing architects. The Council of Architecture is charged with the responsibility to regulate the education and practice of profession throughout India besides maintaining the register of architects. For this purpose, the Government of India has framed Rules and Council of Architecture has framed Regulations as provided for in the Architects Act, with the approval of Government of India.
