by mistake i filled BE instead of btech in my cat form . will it matter later on ? Because both courses are equivalent.

While filling form one must be very conscious. Although degrees are equivalent but still you should have filled the one which is in your hand.
It although shuns the area of making more mistakes or any kind of glitches that could be pointed by the authorities.
So for now don't worry. If there is possibility try to notify them through emails or make the correction through correction window.
