You should have at least 96.5 percentile to get descent core branches like MECHANICAL,ELECTRICAL in good NIT's if you belong to GENERAL or OBC-NCL Category.
If you want to take CSE or ECE branch you should have at least 98.2 percentile.
For SC and ST candidate 93 percentile is safe for getting descent branches in good NIT'S.
