Different colleges accept scores of different exams and there are colleges which accepts scores of multiple exams as well.

There are a lot of entrance exams conducted by different colleges. Some of the different exams are XAT for XLRI and SNAP for Symbiosis. There are also a range of other exams like CMAT, NMAT and MAT, the scores of which, some colleges accept. But the two most important exams are CAT and XAT. Nearly all of the colleges accept the scores of these two exams. If you are not very much concerned about money, then you should consider taking GMAT too. GMAT score is used to take admission in foreign MBA colleges.

• For all IIM' s you need to go through CAT exam
• If you are looking to do MBA outside India then you need to clear gmat exam for further process. Gmat will also help you in getting admission in B-school like ISB Hyderabad and Chandigarh
• XAT exam for XLRI college
• NMAT conducted by gmac for Narsee Monjee admission
• SAT or SPJET for S.P. Jain
• IIFT exam for Indian Institute of foreign trade college both in Delhi and Kolkata
• SNAP exam for symbiosis
• There are other private state colleges who also accept the score of CET, CMAT and MAT along with CAT and XAT exam
