Do we need to take jee advance to qualify for seats in NITs or jee mains is sufficient

Hello.
The Jee Advanced is held for admission into IITs, the Jee mains is held for admission into NITs and IIITs. So, to get admission into an NIT, you need not attempt the Jee Advanced.
