Hello Karnati Ravi..Firstly congrats for that good percentile.
According to careers360 rank formula,
Rank formula= [(100-total score) * (no of students wrote exam)] /100
No of students attended are 874469.
So your expected rank will be nearly around 12,650.
As per previous year jee mains, any rank below 2,00,000 will be qualified for jee advanced.
So according to expected rank of yours, you are eligible for jee advanced.
Hope this helps you. All the best.
It is difficult to predict the actual rank or JEE Advanced qualifying marks as for the first time JEE Main is being conducted twice and rank will be based on NTA percentile score but you may calculate your expected rank by this formula-
874469 are the number of candidates appeared for the January exam.
So rank formula is (100- your total score) * 874469 / 100.
If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1400000 then your final rank shall be (100- your total score) * 1400000/100
Good Luck!
Hi Karnati. You can calculate your own rank very easily. The formula is to deduct your percentile from 100 and then multiply it after dividing the total number of students with 100. After applying this formula, your rank comes out to be 12,649.641813. For more details you can visit https://www.entrance360.com/engineering/how-to-calculate-rank-for-jee-mains-2019/
