Don't worry, Shashank!Being Overwhelmed is common, especially when things get challenging in academics. First Break Down the Syllabus, divide your syllabus into smaller chunks.Create a schedule for study time that breaks down into specific time slots for each topic.Include some proper study techniques like Active Learning that includes like note taking, summarizing concepts in one's own words, and mind mapping. Also Regular Practiceis very important. Solve many problems based on textbooks, previous year papers, and mock tests.Always Clarify Your Doubt: Never hesitate to approach your teachers or peer students if you have doubts regarding a topic.
Regular Revision: Schedule regular sessions to revise what you learned.Utilize Time Management Techniques like the Pomodoro Technique can help a person remain focused and productive.
Most importantly get enough sleep for refreshment and alertness.Eat healthy to provide fuel to the brain and body.Regular exercise for stress release and improved concentration.
Every challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow. Stay positive, work hard, and believe in yourself.

Hi Shashank,
it’s natural to feel stressed or regretful when facing challenges, especially in a demanding stream like PCM. Remember, every field has its obstacles, but the key lies in approaching them with a clear mind and strategy.
-
Self-Reflection: Take a moment to reflect on why you chose PCM. Was it interest in engineering, pure sciences, or peer pressure? Reconnect with your genuine interests to regain focus.
-
Plan & Organize: Break your syllabus into manageable chunks and create a timetable. Tackling one concept at a time can ease the overwhelming feeling.
-
Seek Guidance: Talk to teachers, seniors, or mentors about your struggles. They can provide insights or tips to navigate these challenges.
-
Explore Options: PCM offers diverse career paths—engineering, research, data science, aviation, or even non-science fields like management. Knowing your options can motivate you.
- Take Breaks & Stay Positive: Stress is normal, but balance it with activities you enjoy. Engage in hobbies, exercise, or talk to friends.
Regret only holds power if you let it. Use this time to learn, adapt, and grow stronger. You’ve got this!
