How many marks are necessary to became an cardiologist OR, To get admission for MBBS
Dear Rushi, for you to be qualified in NEET if you are from General Category, youbshould score 50%, if you are from SC,ST, OBC then you should score 40% and if you belong to PWD category, then you should score 45%. These are just the qualifying percentages. However not everyone who has qualified in NEET will be selected and offered a seat during the counselling. The authorities will release cut offs for every category and every Medical college also releases its own Cut offs for every Category. So to be on a safer side your score should be nothing less than 550+. With anything lesser as a score, it is hard to get a seat if you are from General Category. And once you join MBBS because it is 5 and 1/2 years and then you have to appear for NEET PG, the marks you need to score say 6 years from now cannot be predicted.
