How to reduce our mental stress
Krishna, did you know that stress decreases performance? Mental stress is one of the key factors correlated with concentration and thus academic or physical performance. Stress is a "disabling" symptom that reduces motor abilities and emotional abilities in a person. Acknowledging the fact that you are stressed is the first step towards improving your ability to destress and maintain calm composure so as to let things fall in place. Now there are always few aspects of life that you cannot change no matter how hard you try. Those things, though they hit you hard, need to be ignored and moved on upon. How much ever people might say to have a positive attitude, it is difficult when the odds are against you. In such situations, accepting the reality atleast makes you stronger to accept the issue at hand. There are quite a few a compensatory techniques that might actually divert your mind and help you destress. Exercise, Meditation, picking up a hobby, deep breathing, getting enough sleep are few techniques. But speaking to someone who can listen to you and not judge you is also important because you need to let out the emotion. If you do not have someone whom you can trust, the best part is to talk to a mirror, vent out your feelings, let out the anger, frustration and stress. This might actually help because you are letting out your emotions that are hurting you and causing you stress.

Just do what gives you relief. Watch some funny things, spend some time for exercise. Exercise is one of the best way to get relief from stress. If you aren't so interested in exercise go for meditation. It controls your emotions

Don't go for depression, anxiety , irritability which can increase your mental illness. Avoid your bad habits if you have.
