.
Go for all NCERT books of 11 and 12.They are one of the best books for any kind of examination. After completing them thoroughly go with these books,
.
Books for physics,
- Concepts of physics (Vol. 1 and 2) by H.C Verma
- Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick & walker
- Understanding Physics by D C Pandey Arihant
Books for chemistry,
- Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations by R.C. Mukherjee
- Organic Chemistry by O P Tandon
- Concept of Physical Chemistry by P Bahadur
Books for maths,
- Objective Mathematics by R D Sharma
- Plane Trigonometry by S L Loney
- The Elements Of Coordinate Geometry by S L Loney
Now here is only half of the portion you completed.
you have many other topic to get prepared.below link will be helpful for you to get all of them.

.
Coming to useful points for preparation,
- Make a note of important points in a book
- Neglect night studies
- Every hour change the subject
- Weekly test yourself by conducting or attempting model papers
- Don't buttify. If you are going through a question remake question by yourself so that it will not be a confusion if the questions are twisted
- Focus on the things
best of luck
Hello,
Keep these points in mind to get a rank around 1000.
Try to devote about 5 hours on working days, and about 12 hours on non-working days.
Be sincere in your efforts (Half hearted hard work doesn’t give fruitful results !)
2. Practice from limited and standard books like HC VERMA, etc. Dont do too many books. Do limited books, and do it more number of times. Become perfect in them.
physics: stick with HC Verma. Then go ahead with IIT JEE Questions directly. Dont go for any other crap books. Also other books from Arihant and GRB are good .. However if u have time left after doing previous years, you can solve Irodov, Resnick, Krotov etc !
Chemistry: NCERT most important. Other than that, for reference, use OP Tandon, MS Chouhan, Pradeeps, Morrison and Boyd, Himanshu Pandey, P Bahadur, SN Sanyal etc. Other books from GRB and Arihant are also good !
Maths: Start with NCERT, RD. Then go ahead with A Das Gupta, MCQ in Maths, Advanced Problems in JEE (Balaji) and then previous year questions from Arihant 39 years !etc More books of Arihant and GRB can be used if needed
Dear Chandan, if you are studying for 12-14 hours a day, it is more important to focus on "what to study" than "how to study" because you are already doing a great job at that. Under the new exam pattern, the number of questions per subject has been reduced from 30 MCQs to 20 MCQs, and 5 questions with numerical answers. The MCQs still carry negative marking for each wrong answer, while there is no negative marking for the other 5 questions. So your preparation has to change accordingly.
Physics: You need to practise to be fast and accurate wih the formulae. Go through each derivation, prepare short notes and most importantly memorize the formulae, definitions and processes. Read the theory and practice its examples in the NCERTs. Have small flash cards for quick reference. Concepts in Physics by Dr. HC Verma is a great source for strengthening the basics after completing the NCERT book. Beginning with its examples, solve objectives I, II and the theory questions. Over the years, for Physics, the focus had been on Electronic Devices, Optics, Electrostatics, and Thermodynamics. So concentrate more on these subjects.
Chemistry: Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Bio-molecules, Polymer, Aldehyde Ketone and Carboxylic acids, Equilibrium, Coordinate Compounds etc. constitute the major part of the Chemistry paper. It is further added that Qualitative Analysis, General principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements and Surface Chemistry etc. have lesser number of questions in the exam. If you can memorise the periodic table, chemical formula of each gas and their structure, Chemistry can be easier for you. Focus on focus on Organic Compounds containing Oxygen, Equilibrium, Basic Concepts, and Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure.
Mathematics: Nothing works like having strong fundemental knowledge. The pattern of a solution to a problem must be worked upon. A typical question often requires a combination of various concepts and their intertwining among themselves. Their analysis helps in strengthening the concepts and imbibing the requisite skills.Your focus should be on Coordinate Geometry, Limit, continuity, and differentiability, and Integral Calculus. Chapters like 3-Dimensional Geometry, Applications of Derivatives, Limits, Continuity and Differentiability and Matrices and Determinants constitute a higher number of questions in JEE. Be quick in Calculations. Also visit our page for more preparation tips at: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-preparation-tips/amp
