You can appear in JEE mains after completing the diploma but you will not get admission in NITs and CFTIs. You will have to qualify JEE advance after qualifying mains and will be given admission like 12th standard students.

Yes, after 12th appearing or passing and diploma holders can appear in jee main but upper age limit for general and OBC category is 24years and for SC St category is 29 years .
