    Dear Anjana, in 2017 under State Quota, 483 marks secured a seat in Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College under General Category. That was the cut off. Having said that in 2018, under All India Quota the same college gave a seat to 550 marks under General Category. Going by the previous cut offs, 518 is a less score for a Government Medical College. Having said that cut off changes every year and is dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So we would suggest you to wait until the official Answer key has been released to weigh in your options.     Hello Student,

    First of all Congratulation for scoring this good marks in the NEET examination. According to previous years cutoffs you have chancoes of getting government medical college if you have state Quota of Himachal Pradesh. You will not be able to get a government college with all India rank se its cutoffs are high above 555.
