JEE Main 2025 Most Scoring Concept: January Session | April Session
Even if you are lacking preparation for the jee mains I would advice you to attempt the January exam and try and get a fair idea of the format, complexity of the exam and an aura and stress of giving such an exam. These are a little skills that you need to master and be aware except for the preparations that go into it.
Nta allows you to have 4 attempts at this exam (2 every corresponding years). Hence even if you don't clear this attempt you would be left with 3 more attempts(one in April and the rest two in 2022).
Jee mains is a boards level examination and if you prepare well for your boards you are likely to get a good score in jee as well.
Dropping an year and extending your prep time increases stress and usually reduces your chances of clearing the exam ,hence apply this year and prepare hard.
Good luck
If you are still currently studying in class 12th and you have not given your class 12th boards exams yet, and you will give jee mains next year, then you will be left with only 2 attempts that is - JEE mains 2022 and JEE mains 2023.
And you can not give jee mains 2024.
Because in JEE mains you can give maximum up to three attempts, counting from your class 12th passing year.
But if you haven't prepared for jee mains then still you must give jee mains 2021, as you will get to know the examination in real.
There are still some months left for jee mains, so prepare in these left months for jee mains as the best as you can.
And in 2021 give your first attempt of Jee mains.
