ICAI does not provide class-based learning, and CA needs self-study. For immersive exam learning, it is recommended that you join an institute or coaching.
Since the CA course is strenuous and lengthy, it is advisable to complete a bachelor's degree in addition to the programme. The B.Com and B.Com (H) courses are very similar to the CA curriculum. It will aid your preparation and provide you with an alternative if you decide not to pursue a career as CA. You can use your B.Com degree to apply for employment.

if you wish to pursue Chartered Accountancy after Class XII, you would need to appear for 3 levels of examinations over a period of a few years:
1. Foundation Level (CPT- Common Proficiency Test)
Register with the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) for applying for the CPT. You would need approximately four months of dedicated preparation to be able to clear the exam.
100/200 is the qualifying score to be able to register for the IPCC.
2. Intermediate Level (IPCC- integrated Professional Competence Course)
IPCC consists of 7 subjects, in which an aggregate of 50% is required for the student to qualify. Approximately 8 months of dedicated preparation are recommended for a student to be able to clear to IPCC.
After clearing the IPCC, and before beginning the Articleship/ Training, aspirants are required to complete a one month Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS).
Articleship: After clearing the IPCC, CA aspirants are required to work in the field under a practicing CA (with at least 10-15 years of experience and not more than 8 Articles under him ) for three years. From the last six months of the Articleship onwards, aspirants become eligible to appear for the CA Final.
During the Articleship but before the CA Final, aspirants need to complete an Advanced integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills , which lasts 4 weeks.
3. CA Final
After completing the Articleship or in the last months of it, aspirants can appear for the CA Final, post clearing which, they may register with the ICAI as a Chartered Accountant and begin practice.
Hope this helped.
