I got 97.81 percentile in jeemains paper 2 with rank 5585, belong to OBC caste, from AP,can I get any NIT

Hello student,
With a rank of around 5,500 in obc category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the NIT's if your home state when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, the closing ranks in obc category was around 2,000 in the top NIT's. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats and state quotas. However you can go through the following link to know about the cut off's and ranks for the previous years and calculate your chances of selection
