My power for an eye only is -5.6 so there is no hope.

definitely you can get job in indian army but not in infantry and AF defence. you can be a part of technical team,but your eye sight should fall in the range of -3.5 to +3.5 which can be rectified with lens.if not i'm sorry you're not eligible for any jobs in army.
