i have 2 backlogs so i can only clear this at my 6th sesester so i wont get placements?

You can still get placements, but clearing your backlogs is crucial because many companies ask students to clear all backlogs before or by the placements. While some companies might allow you to appear for the interview with pending backlogs, you will almost certainly be disqualified if you don't clear them before joining.
