You have good chances of getting into various government colleges in your state through 85% state quota considering your rank. Here are a few options-

1. Sri Krishna Medical College, Muzzafarpur

2. Government Medical College, Bettiah

3. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Bhagalpur

4. Jannayak Karpoori Thakur Medical College, Madhepura

5. Vardhaman Institute of Medical sciences, Nalanda

You might not be able to grab a seat in the top most government colleges such as Nalanda Medical College, Patna Medical College and Indira Gandhi Medical College as their cut off ranks are usually below 6000-8000, but you can easily get admission in the above mentioned colleges. However, kindly note that cut offs vary every year and completely depends on factors such as number of students who attempted the paper, seat matrix in colleges and difficulty level of the exam.
