I hv done my MBBS frm a govt clg in WB. Can someone tell me when can one write MBBS(Hons) ie Honours as a credential beside their name?
Hey !
There is no college in india which offers a degree of MBBS honours. Although there are many countries which offer thid course. Well , there is not much difference in MBBS and MBBS honours. But if you want you can use hons as a credential if you have passed all subjects in one attempt with 75% or more in every year.
Hope it helps!
MBBS (Hons.) although not much of a known degree generally may stand for 2 reasons.
1. You have passed all the subjects of your entire MBBS course at a single attempt without giving any Supplementary Exam.
2. Many people separately perform Research under known personals within their MBBS course, upon successful completion, they put the degree MBBS (Hons.) beside their name.
There is absolutely no use of the separate Hons. received at the end of each Prof. upon attaining 75%.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck !
