There is no problem in taking a drop untill and unless you are not serious about it.Becuse when you take a drop you put important one year time of your life on the line so since you have decided to drop i would suggest you to give your best in the days with full dedication, seriousness and focus and then only you will be able to achieve a good marks and rank. You should also look up to the mistakes you have done in the past exam and try to work on it.Polish your strong areas too.
Good Luck
As you have scored 91 percentile this year, if you try hard consistently, you can achieve more than that and also can crack it JEE advanced.
Well you have two attempts now which means double chance to make it up, but time of preparation is just the same.
Start your preparation with a positive attitude. Stay updated with the revised exam pattern and prepare accordingly.
Do not be stressed or else it will lead to bad health and backlog.
Make a regular revision habit and work on your shortcomings. Prepare a strategy to plan your task and time as you know your weak and strong points of JEE Main concepts.
Do not feel bored as you have gone through the entire syllabus already just try to figure out where you could not perform.
Make a schedule and follow it strictly.
Do not waste your time at all.
Study for long hours but not at a stretch. One more thing your brake should be of a less time just to relax mind not to lose focus getting engaged in other things.
Manage your time of coaching and self-study.
Cover the syllabus and whatever you cover must be sound maintaining the point it should take time weightage accordingly.
