i lose my concentration easily what should i do to increase study time
Hope you are doing well.
It's all about stabilising your mind and stay concious.
To get concentration you have to make habit of study for this you have to make your will power really strong and follow the twenty one day rule ( study continuously for twenty one days and after that it becomes your habits )
There are many also many yoga techniques that are known to stimulate the brain and nervous system, which in turn improves memory and concentration. Dharna, the sixth limb of yoga is a state of focus attained through asana, pranayama and meditation practices. The drishti's (gazing points) used in the asana practices are known to increase concentration.
Hope it is helpful to you !
Thankyou !
Hello Riya! The problem you are facing right now has always been something that irritated me for a very long period. You must be getting distracted easily by any small thing happening around you and sometimes start day dreaming in the middle of an important class etc. These were the problems that I faced. What you can do to improve your concentration is:
- Choose your own time: Choose the time that suits you the most. If it is morning then wake up early to study or any other work you need to concentrate on. If you feel you are a night owl then stay up late working for your goals. Its very very important to know which time suits you the most.
- Create a realistic time table: What I mean by a realistic time table is that create a time table that you know you can follow and not the one you know you will never follow but still you make it anyway. Making a realistic time table is very important as it boost your confidence and when you have a goal set for the day in your mind then the mind constantly feels the urge to complete it.
- Study smart: By studying smart what I mean is you need to study in short period of time and not for hours and hours without giving your body or mind a break. Study for a short period of time like 45 minutes or 50 minutes or whatever time that suits you. Take a 10 or 15 minute break after that, listen to music or exercise a bit, then again follow the cycle. Remember not to EXTEND THIS BREAK FROM 15 MINUTES TO 30 MINUTES.
- Eliminate Distractions: For example: If you are studying Physics then only keep the books you need at that time around you. Put your phone away, put all other subject books in cupboard, put your headphones or any charging wires or anything distracting away.
- At the end just FOCUS ON YOUR GOALS. If you have goals that you really want to achieve, you will go to any extent to achieve them.
Hope this helps!
