I lost my 12th marksheet and have applied for duplicate . I would like to know if using the duplicate instead of the original will cause any issues during counselling or medical college admission

i belong to OBC NCL category.in my CUET UG form i entered the application number of my OBC NCL certificate as it was not issued yet. That application was later rejected. if i reapply, the new application will have a different number, will this cause any issues during counselling or admission ?

A duplicate 12th marksheet issued by a recognized board (like CBSE) is generally considered legally valid and equivalent to the original for NEET counselling and medical college admissions.
