    Hello,

    No, you have to seat for the JAM exam to do MSc in Physics from NIT Surathkal. Writing the JAM exam is necessary to get into NIT's, without which the admission is not possible.

    Admission through JAM examination is a centralized process and it's courses are required for admission to various IIT and NIT's. It is a primary route to get into those institutes.
