JEE Mains Will have to be appeared for again next year if in case you want To appear for JEE advanced entrance test in 2020. You can use jee mains marks this year to attain admission in colleges that accept the scores. Next year, it will have to be a fresh attempt at both JEE Mains and Advanced.

I think being a Jee aspirant you will better know this that only two chances are available to you for JEE advance either you use it or not.
If you had written it in year 2018 your next chance is in 2019 , you cannot write it in 2020 at any cost.
