If i am scoring total 24 marks in VARC in CAT then From that total the negative marks will be deducted?

According to CAT pattern there will be negative marks for wrong attempt question.however there is no negative marks for unattempted question and descriptive answers.
1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer you have given in VARC section.if you score 24 then the total marks of wrong answer will be deducted.
