If I dont go to Allen, Aakash, etc can I score good marks in JEE?

It is not always necessary that you should join a coaching institute to do good in JEE.Coaching institutes will guide you in your preparation .If you have confidence & if you are determined ,do hard labour ,study properly with clarity of concepts,I don't think you need to attend any coaching institute .Take decision as per your need & requirement.
There are many students who have cracked this exam without coaching. So, you don't have to worry about that. Joining Coaching is just a new trend which students use to follow. Concentrate on your studies and be motivated.
For Preparation,
**Plan your studies**
Formulate a study plan. It helps you to organize all the topics that has to be covered.
* Study for at least 8 hours in a day
* Assign one complicated topic and one easy topic
* Include topics from Mathematics in every day studies
* Solve Physics problems everyday.
**Study material**
To crack this exam you have to choose right study material as there are lot of options available in the market. Complete your syllabus with the help of NCERT books it will help you to clear your concepts and fundamentals.
Apart from NCERT text books, refer to prescribed standard text books.

* Chemistry- Arihant master resource book for JEE
**Give mock tests**
Solve previous years' papers and attend mock tests regularly.

Yes, you can crack your exam without coaching you don't have to get demotivate about this you need to work hard and be self motivated if you want to crack this exam.
Tips to crack JEE exam-
1-Aspirants are advised to carefully analyze the paper pattern and the syllabus of JEE. It is important to check the weightage of the topics before beginning with your revision.
2-After the analysis, prepare a time-table of the topics you intend to cover.
3-NCERT books are extremely important. Students must cover the entire syllabus from the NCERTs and then consult other reference books.
4-Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are equally important and hence aspirants must focus on all three.
5-This is the right time to revisit your revision notes or flash cards so that you don't miss out the important facts.
6-Solving previous year papers is extremely important. They help in knowing your weak areas so that you can work on them further.
