If i have failed in 5th subject (Computer S) am I eligible for ipu cet?
Hello Vishesh, first of all you must know that this year, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is conducting IPU CET only for admission into B.Tech Biotechnology. For admission into any other B.Tech Programme the University will consider JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 marks.
To get admission into IP University, you must fill the online applications released on 22 March 2019.
Now the eligibility criteria for IPU CET is:
1. You must have passed class 12 or appearing for your exams this year.
2. A candidate must have secured atleast 55% aggregate marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/Biotechnology. And also pass each subject individually.
3. You must have passed and studied English subject in your 12 class.
4. The age limit is 21 years.
If you don't want to do your engineering in Bio-Technology, then the only option is that you must have necessarily given JEE Main 2019 in the month of January. Otherwise you won't get admission into GGSIPU.

All the best!
I hope this helps.
Dear Vishesh, for being eligible for IPUCET, you should have passed your 12th in whole. But in your case because you have failed in a subject, would you get the 12th pass certificate? Because you have to pass 12th as a whole without any backlogs even in a single subject, unfortunately you are not eligible for IPUCET.
