If your school is not allowing you to take the improvement exam for class 12 under the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) while you are enrolled in college, it's important to clarify the rules. Typically, JAC allows improvement exams for students who want to improve their scores, but each board has its specific guidelines. The concern raised by your school might stem from a policy that restricts students already enrolled in higher education from giving improvement exams.
First, check the JAC board’s official website or contact the board directly to confirm their stance on improvement exams while enrolled in college. If the board's rules permit it, you can present this information to your school. If they still refuse, consider writing a formal request to the board for clarity or assistance.
Additionally, you might want to explore other options, such as temporarily withdrawing from college or postponing admission until after your improvement exam. This will depend on how much the improved marks matter for your future plans.
Gathering information from official sources and staying firm on your rights will help resolve the situation smoothly.
