I'm in class 12th and i want prepration of neet after 12th class so if i leave 1 year after 12th than my 1st attempt in neet is remove?
hi rajat, it will be counted as an attempt only if you apply for neet,it wouldnt be if you dont and you can take the exam anytime you wish. From 2017 onwards, candidates are allowed a total of three attempts in NEET. If they haven’t appeared for NEET 2017, then their appearance for NEET 2018 will be considered as the first Candidates who fall under these categories - Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats. hope this helps, good luck
It is only when you apply for this entrance and appear for it will your attempt be counted.
You need not worry.
If you don't want to give NEET in 2018 in your 12th class, definitely your attempt will not be counted.
It will only be counted when you fill the form.
As you would know, NEET can be given thrice and the upper age limit is 25 yrs.
Hope this helps.

The NEET exam is a registration based examination. The year when you register for the examination is the year your attempt is counted.
Registration means filling the form and the necessary details. So, as long as you do not fill in the form, you should not worry about losing an attempt.

Thank you for asking your doubts.
Let me clear your doubt by telling you the rules n regulations of neet 2018.
As per neet rules n regulations, the first attempt is the one in which you actually register for neet. So if you register in your 12th year, it is your first attempt. If you don't Register in your 12th; instead take a gap and then fill the form after one year, then that is your first attempt. But in case you register during your 12th year, and again if you register after one year, then that is your second attempt.
As per what you are saying, if you do that; then that is your first attempt only.
I hope my answer was helpful.
All the best with your preparation.
