yes,in the eamcet and moreover in many engineering colleges it is possible to avail the sliding option,where you can change your course upon achieveing a higher GPA.
A lot of colleges allow students with high GPA to slide in order to also make up for students who may leave the seat mid-way through college.so,it depends on seat availability also
