Is HC Verma really a good book for jee mains 2020. I think the pattern of jee mains questions is very different from the hcv?

Hello student,
HC verma is really a very good but you can use it as extra reference book. The questions are really of very high level with respect to the jee mains point of view. If you have taken coaching then you might first follow all the modules which is provided by the coaching. If you are not a coaching person then you can first study the basics from the ncert then you can go for HCV.
hello aspirant,
HC Verma is sufficient to get a good score in the JEE Mains ,if you study the book religiously and solve most of the questions,
at any point of time if you feel that some of the questions are out of syllabus for jee mains, you can directly check the syllabus from the officail website and then you can skip that question,
in my views, it's the best book for IIT JEE preparation.
hope that helps
