Is it compulsory to give improvement in each subject to get NIT?
If you have more than 75% in each subject than there is no need to give improvement exams.
You are eligible for JEE mains and to get admitted in college under it.
So good luck
For getting admission in NIT, apart from the required cutoff, you have to score more than 75% marks in your boards.
Improvement in each subject is not necessary. It's just that you should clear all the papers and score more than 75%.
Hope this helps.
Hello Rahul
If you fulfill all the eligibility criteria to appear for JEE Main exam and get admission in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs except for the percentage required in the qualifying exam, you can appear for improvement exam in one or more subjects or you can also appear for improvement in all the subjects.
You can apply for improvement in one subject if it is to get a requisite of 75% (65% for SC/ST category) in Class 12th.
If you want to get into top 20 percentile then you have to appear in all five subjects.
