Not compulsory at all.
Students can appear for either on eor more than one where they wish to improve scores or where they have received compartment .
Best of both scores of each subject will be used for calculations for admission and Counselling . PCM marks is compulsory required for Jeemain exam.

No not necessary if you think that your percentage is not coming under the eligibility criteria for taking the admission in NIT / IIT or any Central funded institute than you can go with the improvement exam otherwise not necessary. Overall if you have more than 75% in class 12th if you are from General Category and for other categories it should be more than 65% , if you are satisfying all these categories then you should not go with the improvement exam.

Sir i got 74.6 i am thinking to give improvement in only one subject to increase 3 to 4 marks...but my friend told me that i have to give improvement in all 5 subjects.. I don't know what to do and what is the right information??
