Is it very easy to get chance in Loreto college kolkata being a general category student?

In order to apply for admissions in the Loretto College, Kolkata you need to be eligible for admission as per their eligibility criteria. To be eligible the following need to be fulfilled -
1- In order to apply for B.A or B.Sc the student must have passed his/her 10+2 or equivalent examination successfully with English as one of the main subjects.
2- Candidates from a science background can also apply for their course of choice, considering that they must've has the subject in their 10+2 level.
3- The minimum eligibility to apply for B.Ed. is Graduation with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university.
4- Teachers from recognised schools can also apply for B.Ed.
There is a preference given to christians, SC, ST, OBC, disabled people, women, etc. Final admissions are granted through counselling at the college level.
