JEE will be conducted twice the year by this condition can we prepare for JEE by taking a gap of one year?(now I am in 11 std.)

Jee is conducted twice in a year I.e in January and April (out of these highest marks will be considered for final ranking.)
Yes you can definitely prepare with a year gap but when you take a year gap ; your preparation will starts from April and you have 7 -8 months for the preparation .
So I would suggest you to prepare from now because you have enough time if you start from now and to make concepts strong it needs time and practice.

It solely depends on you that when you want to start your preparation. Keep one thing in mind that you can appear in Jee mains For three consecutive year after passing you 12th exam. For example If I have 12th boards in year 2019 then I can appear for Jee mains 2019-2021. For advanced you can appear for 2019 and 2020. It depends on your ability that when you want to start your preparation
As you are in the 11 standard I suggest you to start the preparation from now. Because if you want to prepare in the 12th standard you should prepare the entire 2 years syllabus in one year. So start the preparation from now ..
