mujhe NSG commando banna hai i am 22 year old
Hello Aspirant,
To be a NSG commando you have to go through the below categories-
1. Qualifications for the NSG
Candidates must have graduated in a certain stream or area of study.
Participation in NSG is only open to Indian citizens.
Candidates who have served in the Indian Armed Forces and passed the CDS and CAPF exams administered by the UPSC, as well as any other state selection process, are qualified to apply to become NSG.
A candidate must be a member of the Indian Army and must complete three years of active duty. You must have served there for five years in order to be a candidate for the police force.
Age restriction: Participants must be under 35 years old in order to participate in any of the NSG categories.
2. NSG Recruitment Procedure
There is no simple process for joining NSG. A candidate must meet the eligibility requirements and should succeed on the selection test. To become eligible for NSG, you must pass various selection phases:
Phase 1: Eligibility for Pre-Selection
A candidate should have completed five years of police service or have at least three years of Indian Army service.
A applicant must meet physical requirements and pass medical examinations.
To be eligible for NSG, a candidate must be younger than 35 years old.
Any candidate should not have any red ink, negative entries, or behaviour records that are demeaning.
Phase 2: Initial Qualification for Training and the Selection Process
At this step, candidates will receive Basic and Advanced Training at two different levels.
The NSG Training Center in Manesar is where the fundamental instruction will be provided. Basic level training takes 14 months to complete. The next level of training is advanced, which is a bit more difficult. At this point, the candidates frequently withdraw. Between 70 and 80 percent of students drop out. The advanced level training programme lasts nine months.
Phase 3 - Advanced NSG Training
This is the last stage to becoming an NSG. It is crucial to enrol in advanced NSG training nine months after finishing. Some of the essential subjects are covered in the NSG advanced training, including:
Training methods for intelligence gathering and surveillance for special filtration
Training in both unarmed combat and knife combat
Techniques for detecting and neutralising bombs
rapid fire, reflexive, and mirror shooting.
Candidates who pass all three phases will have the chance to join the NSG, receive specialised training, and typically serve for three to five years after graduating.
In addition to meeting the requirements, you must possess certain qualities to become an NSG, including self-control, perseverance, clarity of thought, a problem-solving mindset, technical expertise, and determination. If you possess these qualities, you can succeed in the subsequent phases as well.
