Preparatory rank also called prep rank is the rank given to candidates who belong to reserved categories but was not able to qualify JEE Advanced. You may apply for JoSAA. When there are vacant seats admission to preparatory course will occur by considering prep rank. After completion of one year they will be admitted to first year to undergraduate course.
