BAMS admission is based on the NEET score. BAMS provides admission to government and private colleges.

- The government colleges have a cutoff of around 425-430 for general category and 400 for reserved candidates.There are reservations for domicile students based upon state quota cutoffs.
- Now for the private colleges the cutoffs for general category students are in the range of 295--300 and for reserved category candidates in the range of 260-280.However the fees are high as compared to government colleges.
