BFIA course is a UG course pursued by student’s keen in finance field. The course focuses on the fundamentals of financial products. It is a core finance course. It provides candidates with the technical knowledge about banking non-banking institutions, forex markets, capital funds and insurance investment, etc.
Students who have a knack for numbers and finance, global economics etc then there are likely to like this course more.
Course duration: three years
Eligibility:
- candidates should have qualified their 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% and a background in either science and commerce stream with mathematics.
- Some institutions also conduct aptitude tests for the entrance
Employment scope:
in MNC’s, banks, brokerage house, investment banking entities, private equity funds, financial research hubs and centers, all non-financial organizations have an in-house finance teams, etc.
Fee structure: it ranges from about 1 L p.a. to 1.5 L p.a. and varies from college to college.
