should I do btech or take drop?

One can tell you about the Pros and Cons of taking and not taking a drop, but the decision to pursue the Btech course this year only or take a drop and prepare for better College must totally be your decision.
No other person can judge what decision will be better for you and your future as you best know what your capabilities are and where your weaknesses lie.
