With a score of 190 in St category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. Jammu Kashmir does not have All India quota and all the seats are reserved for the state quota. Last year, a score of 266 was required to fetch one a seat in the government medical college, Srinagar and a score of 249 got a seat in dental college, Jammu. But one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with toughness of the exam and availability of seats.
