Dear Aspirant,

as per the cutoff of the previous years, with the percentile acquired by you in JEE Mains Examination along with your specified category, the options of NITs are limited to a few such as,

• NIT Durgapur

However you need not be disheartened as their are still two more sessions of JEE Mains Examinations and you can try again.

Some of the other colleges where you are eligible to apply for admissions are,

• Delhi Technological University, Delhi
• Birla Institute of Technology. Mesra
• IIIT Delhi
• Punjab University
• Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh

According to your percentile your rank would fall somewhere between 99933-112339. With this rank there is a possibility that you will get a seat in NITs, as you have not specified your branch, it is difficult to tell the exact Opening ranks and closing ranks of all the NITs as per the branches.

But Cutoffs are very very high for this year in all the NITs I strongly suggest you to look for NIT Agartala, NIT Puducherry and NIT Srinagar. There is a great possibility that you will get one seat in any of these NITs with your favourite branch. Somehow, Cutoffs could be higher for OS (other states) Candidates. You can do one more thing, see opening and closing ranks of the NIT of your home state by visiting the official website of JOSAA, go through this link
