Sir I'm having an income certificate which was applied in 2016...so now do I have to renewal it?
Going by your profile, we understand that you belong to Telangana and this answer is being written in that perspective. The income certificate of Telangana is 1 year and so if you have the Income certificate of 2026, you will need a new one. But because it has been more than 4 years, instead of reneweing it, you might have to apply for a new one based on the Category you belong to and also the income slab. You will need the following documents:
- Application form that is completed with a court fee stamp of Rs. 2
- Certification from 2 gazetted officers
- Academic records duly signed
- Aadhar Card
- Address proof like Voter Id, Ration Card, etc
- No judicial paper declaration on Rs. 10 in reference with G.O. 1551 and I.T return, if any or payslip.
You can get the application form from the nearest Meeseva center or you can also download it from the Internet. You will need to fill the application form with the details like:
- Your name
- Father's name
- Mother's name
- Residence details
- Total income of the family
- Sources of the income
- Earning members of the family
- Reason for applying for income certificate
Also your parents job along with their monthly and annual income should be entered. The form needs to be signed and all the documents should be attached and submitted at the nearest Meeseva center.
