The Neolithic Age Marked the beginning of a revolution in man's life. Explain
Hi aspirant,
The Neolithic period or new stone age coined in late 19th century most notably introduced the world to the wheel. Another everyday commodity invented during the Neolithic period were the pots. Other important inventions/findings were irrigation canals, which helped people to fetch water and grow crops in mass quantity.
The Neolithic Era began when some groups of humans gave up the nomadic, hunter-gatherer lifestyle completely to begin farming. Some radical and important period of change in which humans began cultivating plants, breeding animals for food and forming permanent settlements. There were also additional innovations in stone tool production that became widespread and adopted by many groups in distant locations.
Towards the end of the Neolithic era, copper metallurgy is introduced, which marks a transition period to the Bronze or Chalcolithic or Eneolithic Era.
Hope it helps!!
